Ongoing security risk posed by derelict building, a resident takes action

The systematic and complete stripping of the property situated at L20 Krause Street has been the subject of a previous post. Residents have persistently asked for action to be taken by the Administrator of the deceased estate and/or the beneficiary of the deceased estate, to no avail.

Numerous requests for criminal charges against suspects actually apprehended on the property have also borne little fruit.

See L20 Krause – a systematic failure

Now, a resident has taken action and lodge a formal complaint with the Tshwane Building Inspectorate in terms of the Tshwane By-Laws on Derelict Buildings. We urge more residents to do the same.
