The DLSSF is currently in the process of being registered as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) with “section 18A receipts”, being a special prescribed receipt issued under section 18A by a section 18A-approved organisation potentially entitling the donor to an income tax deduction for donations made.

Once finalised it will be in a position to raise funds and donations and implement measures identified in the action plan.
