PRETORIA: Law Enforcement Authorities and various SAPS Units including Private Sector Securities [correction: Security Providers], Waterblack [correction: Blackwater], Axon and Monitornet, They arrested over Four hundred suspects on Thursday 10 November 2022.
Brigadier Thine supported by his counterparts from other Goverment Departments , Home Affairs, Correctional Services, Community Safety ( Gauteng Traffic and Local Community Policing Forum) including Tshwane Metro Police lead [correction: led] the Operation ” Okae Molao” in Erasmia and Wierdabrug
A team of Detectives managed to arrest and profile 105 suspects for Gender Based Violence related cases.
In another successes [correction: success], Police raided and closed six (06) illegal Shebeens for failing to comply with Liqour Board acts and regulations, Liqour Act 2/2003 which prohibits selling of liqour without license, liqour quantity confiscated amount to 91670ml.
A total of 42 undocumented immigrants were arrested at the roadblock on R55 road near M26 and a total of 104 Aarto ticket ( infringements) were issued to the value of R51500.00.
Furthermore, The SAPS management visited Hennopsrivier and Scheverburg [correction: Schurveberg] Streams as they are identified as hotspots in Erasmia Policing precint, upon the visit, the police confronted members of the public who were performing religious activities in the bushes which is located in an isolated area.
Brigadier Thine immediatley intervened and send [correction: sent] a stern warning to those particular individuals to refrain from visiting such places as they might put themselfs [themselves] in a greater position to become targets and victims of crime or even to get attacked , robbed off [correction: of] their belongings.
He encourages the residents and the public to find other avenues to practice their religious activities in areas that are convinient and/or Safe.
