13 December 2022 -update
Erasmia “land invasion” actually turned out to be something different. The property was sold in auction as the previous company was placed in liquidation. The new owners, being a property development company paid the deposit of R400K but are still to pay the balance (R3.6 million). The title deeds have not yet been transferred to them.
The new “owners”, Ditabeng Afrika Holdings, then proceeded to try and sell plots of land for R5K to unsuspecting buyers . No compliance with NEMA and the EIA processes or Tshwane Land Use Bylaws, statutory notices to neighbours, Government Gazette etc.
They were instructed to comply with the legislation by SAPS and others (Ward 61 Councillor’s office).
Ditabeng Afrika Holdings is required to seek environmental approval ito NEMA and consent use via Tshwane.
